Three Reasons the Marijuana Strains You Choose Matter

Strains
Some people are perfectly fine with any type of marijuana they can get their hands on, whether it is grown indoors or outdoors, and regardless of how it looks and smells, while others are much more selective about the bud that they smoke on a daily basis.  This is particularly so for those individuals who use marijuana for medicinal purposes, as different marijuana strains offer both different levels of effects and different effects in general. When it comes to being more selective about the strains you smoke you will find that it isn’t always easy to tell the difference from one to another.  It takes a bit of practice and will require some work in order to train your eyes and nose to know the difference, but it will pay off in the end because there are three very good reasons to be more selective about the strains you use.
  1. The Taste – One of the biggest differences between strains is the taste of it when you smoke it, vaporize it, or use it to cook with.  The taste of a strain can range from skunky to piney, with a hint of anything from citrus fruits to berries, and a combination of anything in between.  There are plenty that you do not want to miss out on.
  2. The Buzz – The all-important buzz factor is something to consider when you are choosing your pot too.  Not only can one strain provide a much stronger buzz than another, but it can also provide a different kind of buzz compared to other strains as well.  You should get to know the kind of buzz you like so that you can always make sure you have the right strain to provide that buzz for you.
  3. The Yield – Last but not least, but surely discussed less often, is the size yield you get from a specific strain.  This varies more than you know from one strain to the next.  In some cases you may want a smaller yield due to your growing space, whereas in other cases you may have the room to grow big.  This is one of the reasons why strain information is important to know.
It may be difficult to learn everything there is to know about strains, but the more you know, the better you will grow and smoke.  And we’re here to help you learn as you go.
